3JS (2002-present) is a Dutch band from Volendam (province North-Holland). The formation exists of Jan Dulles (singer), Jaap Kwakman (guitar) en Jan de Witte (guitar since 2013, replacing former band member Jaap de Witte).
In the summer of 2007 they released their first album, Water people/Watermensen, which was successful. Later that year they got more national attention, when they participated in the television series After the summer/De zomer voorbij with Jan Smit and Nick & Simon (also from Volendam and old friends). They released eight albums so far (until 2015) and won a Silver Harp in 2007.
The 3JS are known for their poetic lyrics, beautiful language use and profound songtexts, and also for the warm sound of the lead singer.

The above song 'So beautiful'/'Zo mooi als jij' (2013) was written because of the Royal Inauguration of King Willem-Alexander in 2013. In the clip the 3JS pick up Queen Máxima with the Golden Carriage to bring her to the Royal Palace on Dam Square in Amsterdam. In the song they sing the praise of her beauty.
This single was the last they made with former band member Jaap de Witte and at the end of the clip he is replaced by guitarist Jan de Witte by a magical handkiss of Queen Máxima.
